During the dialysis process, patients' net weight gains or losses are monitored continuously with the FGI-DS-778 Dialysis System. When weight change equals or exceeds preset values, the indicator alerts attendants.
Throughout dialysis, the FGI-DS-788 shows the original weight, current weight and the net difference in either pounds or kilograms for each scale monitored. As many as four scales may be used, each having its own preset value. A bidirectional serial port allows the FGI-DS-788 indicator to be connected to a computer, while the standard printer port allows connection to an optional printer. A PC-style keyboard also may be plugged into the indicator and used to enter patient names and identification numbers. |
